  4. Then use Set-Mailbox Database cmdlet to configure database recovery settings.

  5. Next, goto DPM Administrator Console and then move to Recovery View.

  6. Here select All Protected Exchange Data Node then select the desired mailbox you want to convert.

  7. After that click the Recovery Point Section and choose Data and Recovery Point.

  8. Then Hit the Recovery Time and hit the Recover button.

  9. Now, goto Recovery Tab and review recovery and hit Next.

  10. Here define the Recovery type and hit the Next button.

  11. Now in the new window, you see some recovery options. Here choose them as per our need and choice. Then move to the Notification section, type the recipient for the mail and Send the email.

  12. Click close on the next page.

  13. Now, run the cmdlet “New-MailboxRestoreRequest–SourceDatabase ’RDB-CONTROL’–SourceStoreMailboxmailboxname’–TargetMailbox @servername.com–TargetRootFolderRecovery-SkipMerging StorageProviderForSource” to restore emails.

  14. At the last delete Recovery mailbox database with the help of cmdlet – “Remove-MailboxDatabase -Identity ‘RDB-CONTROL’”.
